New Zealand’s teen queen Lorde appeared at Australia’s annual Aria Awards this weekend where she performed her latest single, “Team.” The song has been topping charts similarly to her debut LP, Pure Heroine. Watch the performance below after the jump.

If you’re going to have a song become the longest-running No. 1 song by a female on the Alternatives Chart in 25 years, it’d be foolish to think you may have two immediately in a row. While it isn’t “Royals” (can any other song be that big this year, other than “Get Lucky”?), “Team” is Lorde’s second top 10 single on the Billboard Alternative Charts. “Team” showcases Lorde’s voice well, and getting to watch her perform it at the awards shows that her voice holds up well off-record, too.
