Seahaven‘s always kept relatively quiet over social media, but seeing as how it’s been over 2 years since the release of their debut full length, Winter Forever, we knew that new material would be coming sooner than later. Today The A.V. Club premiered the southern California band’s latest single, “Silhouette (Latin Skin),” in conjunction with the announcement of the January 21 release of not only an EP of the same name, but a forthcoming full length to be titled Reverie Lagoon: Music For Escapism Only that will be released in the spring of 2014. Put all of this this on top of the previous announcement that the group will be touring with Touche Amore and mewithoutYou, and things are looking to get pretty massive for Seahaven.

Sporting strings and an overall ambient sound in addition to all of the key elements that make Seahaven so unique, “Silhouette (Latin Skin)” displays a natural progression from the band’s past material.
