Azealia Banks Begs Universal to Drop Her

Azealia Banks isn’t one to stay quiet. She picks fights with everyone. She lies and retracts her statements. Hell, how many months now have we been waiting for her album Broke With Expensive Taste after she’s set numerous release dates? Now she’s taken to Twitter once more to bash — and possibly ditch — her label, Universal.

She started tweeting about her dissatisfaction with them earlier today, saying, “I REALLY should have signed with Sony,” and later adding, “Can someone at Sony buy me off of Universal please?? i’m really in hell here.”

It wasn’t long before she was eyeing XL, despite her past history there. Let’s not forget she once told Self-Titled magazine: “Richard was cool, but as soon as I didn’t want to use his beats, it got real sour. He wound up calling me ‘amateur’ and shit, and the XL interns started talking shit about me. It just got real fucking funny. I was like, ‘I didn’t come here for a date. I came here to cut some fucking records.’ I got turned off on the music industry and disappeared for a bit. I went into a bit of a depression.”

Let’s see if these new angry tweets really do have her taken off Universal, or if today is too boring of a Sunday for her not to start some ‘ish.
