Lil Wayne Releases “Krazy” Music Video

Lil Wayne may be keeping the release date for Tha Carter V under wraps, but that’s not stopping the most easily recognizable rapper in hip hop from keeping his name on the front page of every music blog and publication around the globe. Between his singles, fan-centric videos, and recent launch of a new tour with Drake, Lil Wayne is busier than he has been in years, and this morning he delivered one of his most thrilling promotional items in recent memory.

“Krazy” is a song that arrived online just before summer was fully in swing, but it was not until today that the track was given the official video treatment. The clip, which debuted on MTV, finds Weezy channeling One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Next into a straightjacket-bound performance piece that ups the ante for production value in urban music videos. You can view the footage below:

The Carter V is due out this year. Whether or not it will arrive is anyone’s guess at this point, but we are not going to begin holding our breath until a day and month are set in stone. Stay tuned.
