Take a Listen to the Latest Track by Julian Casablancas + The Voidz, “Where No Eagles Fly”

Aside from his obvious skills in performing and songwriting, Julian Casablancas sure does have a knack for keeping people guessing.

Up until today, the most recent track to be released from The Strokes frontman’s upcoming solo album was the 11-minute long avant-garde jam single “Human Sadness,” which was included in the soundtrack for the film She’s Lost Control. All of that bears a small resemblance to the much more punctual “Where No Eagles Fly,” which was recently premiered on BBC Radio 6 earlier today. You can listen to it for yourself on BBC’s recorded stream of the show around the 45:30 minute mark.

Those two tracks will be featured on Tyranny by Julian Casablancas + The Voidz, which releases on September 23 through Casablancas’ label, Cult Records. Pre-orders can be found right here. Do you live in the US and want to hear these songs in a live setting? You’re in luck! The band will be hitting the road this fall. Follow the jump for tour dates.
