UTG VIDEO PREMIERE: Me and the Trinity – “Judge”

Abrasive southern hardcore act Me and the Trinity are back with a new record, Crux, and video for the new single “Judge.” The song is a blazing boost of boastful metal worthy of acts the likes of The Chariot and Norma Jean. The song is heavy, raw, and complicated the way fans expect hardcore music to be. It’s the type of track that tries to break your neck with intensity. The band had this to say about the new release:

“The idea behind the song ‘Judge’ is there will come times in life where you question your identity…who you are as a person. What if you did things differently? What if you became something other than what you thought you’d be? The goal is to realize your identity and find out who you are. Specifically for this song, I found myself questioning who I have grown to be as a person, only to realize that I’m finally right where I am supposed to be. I’ve made plenty of mistakes, but those mistakes, and learning from them, helped shape the person I am today. We wanted to take a really simple approach with the video and film who we are in real life: a group of guys who hang out with our friends, doing regular things we would do on any given day. We aren’t a complex band, so it only made sense that this video reflected that. Plus, we’ve been dying to go out and throw the frisbee around for a while now anyway.”

The video is filled with passion and transparency. It’s the type of song ready to send you into a physical and emotional whirlwind. Strap in, this band is ready to break into the hardcore limelight.
