The Who Confirmed As Glastonbury Headliner, Still Rock ‘n’ Roll As F*ck

According to an article ran by Consequence of Sound, English rock band The Who are slated to be the final headliner at this year’s Glastonbury festival in the UK.

The band will share the stage alongside A-list acts such as Foo Fighters, Kanye West, Florence and the Machine, Pharrell Williams, Alt-J, Lionel Richie, Motorhead, and many more. This will be the band’s first appearance at the festival, considered one of the largest in the world, since headlining in 2007.

The Who are currently celebrating their 50th (!!!) anniversary with a world tour. Yes, that means Pete Townshend is just as cool at 69 as he was at 19. Check out the dates of the tour after the jump.

I was highly impressed when they did the superbowl halftime show a few years back.
