A little while ago, Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi announced he would be releasing a new EP called Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon based on 24-hours notice. Almost out of nowhere, Cudi has shared the title track off that work today and you can give it a listen after the jump.
The track sounds like a mix of old and new, with Cudi repeating anxiety-driven lines like “Heavy little thoughts get jumbled in a bundle, and their tucked deep down in the back of my brain” as usual. Already a 2-time Grammy winner, he doesn’t seem nervous about how the EP will do, instead focusing on letting his fans listen without assumptions based on buzz. “Enjoy the vibes!” he said on Twitter, then thanking fans for their support, saying, “Im so happy to be alive, im so happy to have u as my fans, im so happy u guys love Satellite Flight. U aint heard nothing yet, promise!”
