First Impressions: Ace Enders and A Million Different People – When I Hit The Ground [March 17]

First Impressions is a segment where we let you into our early thoughts on a highly anticipated album, This week, to kick things off, we have our early views of the highly anticipated Ace Enders and A Million Different People’s When I Hit The Ground. It drops March 17th via Vagrant Records.

Personally, I never was a gigantic fan of Ace Enders when he fronted The Early November. They were just one of those bands everyone loved, but I never got into. However, when he released his first album with this project [The Secret Wars], everything changed. The pop rock formula he’d been working on had finally come to a fruition I enjoyed. Now, with more time and work, we have [and you will soon have] his first label released solo album, When I Hit The Ground. After a week with the record, let me tell you, your summer soundtrack has arrived. It’s catchy from the start and the reworked tracks are phenomenal along with the new songs being just as entertaining. It’s got something that just screams for attention. I think he could breakthrough with this release, but for the full review, you’ll have to wait until March.
