September just started, but there’s a bit of summer left over for you to cling on to thanks to Best Coast. The lo-fi California pop rock group will be releasing a new “mini album” called Fade Away. Thanks to NPR, you can hear one of the songs, “I Don’t Know How,” a month before the mini album’s release.
Fade Away has seven songs in total and will come out October 22 through Jewel City, singer Bethany Cosentino’s own newly-launched label. Don’t feel teased by the shortness of the album (or Cosentino’s flirty, carefree vibes in mid-October); a proper LP will be released next spring as well. Cue communal sigh of relief.
