East London’s lo-fi pop trio Novella have shared new track “Follow” from their forthcoming EP Murmurs, and we’re going to be spinning it all day long. Produced by Jack Cooper of Mazes, “Follow” displays some Yo La Tengo guitar-work that loops around until you’re tied together in a bundle. It’s melodic rhythms eventually give way to a rising fuzzy solo, and when that eventually backs down, a crescendo of drums brings their sweet voices into the mix.

It’s a little under a week until Murmurs comes out via Italian Beach Babes on 14 October. To celebrate its release, the three females will be playing a cassette release party at London’s Shacklewell Arms. For all our Londoners out there, be sure to claim a spot in the crowd; Novella’s sound gets even more dimensional live.
