Today, Say Anything is returning to the studio to begin recording what will be their sixth full-length album. The news broke yesterday evening through a tweet by the group’s lead vocalist Max Bemis, which can be viewed in full at the bottom of this post.
This will be the outfit’s first effort to not feature the musical styling’s of drummer Coby Linder, who left the band late last year on good terms.
After Say Anything finishes recording, Bemis is scheduled to hit the road for a solo acoustic tour, which will begin in early December, and bounce around the United States before concluding a few days shy of Christmas Eve. To see if Max will be visiting a venue near you, consult the full list of tour dates found here.
Hey, um, we start officially tracking the new Say Anything record tomorrow.
