The eccentric indie kings in Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s are on the path to releasing their next full-length album, Sling Shot To Heaven, in February of next year, but in the meantime they have a A-Side single from a 7″ prologue to the album. The song was just uploaded to SoundCloud and we’ve currently got it on indefinite repeat.

“Your Sister’s House” is five minutes of gorgeous musicianship. Richard Edwards’ mellow and nearly melancholic vocals pair perfectly with the dreary, lulling tones of acoustic guitar and piano as the melodies of backing vocals and added instrumentation move you from one side of your mind to the other. Close your eyes and get into this after the jump. You’ll feel it.
