Australian singer Betty Who dropped her debut EP this summer, and the 22-year-old has since been blessed by the internet: seeing her single “Somebody Loves You” become a viral video. Now Joywave has come along to remix it, and it sounds like a twisted, synth-glossed cheer. Stream it below.

“I love the Joywave remix of ‘Somebody Loves You’ so much because it’s so totally different from anything else I’ve heard anybody do with this song,” she said to Nylon. “It has a totally different vibe from the original… and makes me wanna twerk like I’m in a Vanessa Hudgens music video!”

The best part of Betty Who’s year isn’t even all that viral video goodness. She signed a record deal, was compared to Robyn and Katy Perry, and just graduated from Berklee College of Music. Yeah, 2013 was good to her.
