Among the many great things about Lorde is her impeccable taste in music and, subsequently, the songs she chooses to cover. She’s done covers before. Quite a few actually. So far she’s given us her take on Sheryl Crow, Tears for Fears, and Kanye.

She’s also showed us her expansive tastes through social media. Her Twitter bio indicated her love for Bright Eyes and a back-and-forth with Yoni Wolf revealed her desire to collaborate with his band Why?.

Most recently, the Grammy award winning teenager gives us a cover of James Blake’s title track, “Retrograde.” The video is great because the cover sounds great and you can watch Lorde claw at the air some more.
