Fucked Up Share “Warm Change” and “Led By Hand” Feat. J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.)

Toronto hardcore fellas Fucked Up have shared two new tracks today: “Led By Hand” and “Warm Change,” the newest singles from their upcoming fourth studio album, Glass Boys, due out June 3 via Matador Records/Arts & Crafts.

Their first single, “Paper The House,” saw similarities to 2008′s The Chemistry of Common Life, but “Led By Hand” gets louder but mellower, roping in help from Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis on vocals and guitar during the sweet, sweet chorus. Damian Abraham’s wailing works surprisingly well alongside Mascis, the two operating much like cream and coffee (because yes, this will wake you up).

Guitarist Mike Haliechuk said the album is “a bit more chill and less OCD than the last record” in a recent interview with Consequence of Sound. “There’s not a million riffs, it’s way drummier, and just feels way looser all around.”

Give “Led By Hand” a listen below and check out “Warm Change” at NPR.
