LISTEN: Failure Releases “Come Crashing,” Their First New Song In Eighteen Years

Failure is an influential alternative rock band that disbanded in 1997, but recently reunited for a series of headline gigs that included a short run of dates opening for Tool. The band just kicked off the “Tree of Stars” tour, their first full tour of the States in 17 years.

A tour-exclusive EP has been available at the shows, featuring live recordings and the studio track “Come Crashing,” the band’s first new song since the 1996 release of their seminal album Fantastic Planet. The song has now been made available online as well.

Failure was just one of the many exciting acts announced to perform at the Chicago and Denver editions of Riot Fest, so I suggest giving Fantastic Planet a spin as soon as possible if, like me, you’ve already started doing your homework. As for “Come Crashing,” the new song sounds like classic Failure, is included below and can be purchased right here. I’ve also included the band’s full slate of dates for your convenience.
