Toronto hardcore group Fucked Up are going to drop their fourth studio album, Glass Boys, on June 3 via Matador Records. That album is now streaming in full over at Pitchfork.
Glass Boys is the follow-up to 2011′s highly praised concept album David Comes to Life, and so far we’ve been more than pleased with the singles we’ve heard already: “Paper The House,” “Warm Change,” “Sun Glass,” and “Led By Hand (feat. J. Mascis)”. Each part was recorded individually, as the band has done in past years, and produced by Bill Skibbe (Austra, Wild Belle). The 10-track album is “a bit more chill and less OCD than the last record” and is looser with heavier drumming, according to an interview with Consequence of Sound. It focuses on growing up, coming to age when you’re already an adult, and embracing that life.
The album is available for pre-orders here.
