UTG CONTEST: Score Free Tea From Foxy Shazam’s Sky White

Over the course of five dance-inducing albums, keyboardist Sky White has acted as the ever-present backbone of Foxy Shazam‘s signature brand of toe-tapping rock n’ roll. However, while this reputation is more than mantle-worthy in just about every regard, the Cincinnati native may soon be known for another equally delectable pursuit: Wendigo Tea Co.

Launched earlier this summer, White’s latest entrepreneurial undertaking aims to share his passion for premium-quality teas with the world.

“I started with tea just like everybody else. I drank whatever came in tea bags and bought something that looked cute on the shelf,” White said. “Once I started traveling all the time and going into tea shops, I started having an appreciation for the actual flavors of good tea, instead of the flavors that people add into them.”

Wendigo currently offers three types of delicious high-grade teas, all of which are named after some very cool cryptids, a trend that White hopes to continue as his brand grows.

“There’s this solid wave of people who care a lot about what they consume,” White said. “I want to give them special, unique tea that feels important.”
