It doesn’t look like metalcore act We Came As Romans spared any expense when putting together the visuals to accompany new single “Hope”. No, “Hope” isn’t from the band’s upcoming, title TBA’d album for 2013. It’s actually the opening track and new single from the deluxe reissue of the group’s 2011 effort Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be.

Well, you can’t knock a band for trying out an unorthodox promotion strategy. Especially in this economy.

But I’m going off topic. “Hope”. New music video. Ah yes.

The visual treatment for “Hope” is lavish and grand. Fittingly so, for an act as ambitious as We Came As Romans. It’s got technical shots of the band’s rock star heroics. It’s got a message about being yourself and standing up for what you believe in. IT HAS AN ACTUAL PLOT.
