Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas attended the Twenty One Pilots show featuring Five Knives & Kaleido at The Crofoot in Pontiac, MI on April 6, 2013.
I had the pleasure to attend the MTV Artists to Watch tour featuring Twenty One Pilots, Five Knives and Kaleido. The show started with Detroit natives, Kaleido, a pop rock group. Christina, singer, brought energy to the crowd and got everyone amped for the show. This band was definitely a ball of energy, which was great in their case. Next up was Five Knives, an electronic pop group with a different sound; they have the typical electronics but with a harder sound. They got the crowd ready for Twenty One Pilots. Speaking of which, Twenty One Pilots hit the stage and the crowd roared. I remember seeing them for the first time back in May in a small room and they sold out The Crofoot on April 6! They killed it, I’ve never seen a band that has given 150% on stage like they do. If you ever have a chance to see them live, take it, you won’t regret it.
