Alesana are my jam. Possibly a little bit more so when I was a teenager, but they are still one of my favorite bands to see live. So the news that they will finally be releasing a brand new single in the foreseeable future has me all giddy like a school girl. The band announced a few hours ago that they will be premiering a new single on December 24, titled “Fatima Rusalka.” The song is expected to be on their forthcoming yet-to-be-named fifth studio album.

It’s been over two years since the band released their last album. Fans have been dying in anticipation to hear some new music, so let’s hope they haven’t been waiting in vain. Be sure to check in again in December to find out if it’s been worth the wait.
