After announcing a few shows, including some festival appearances periodically this week, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks have released their video for the recently posted song “Little Fang.” This fancy alt-disco track is accompanied by an introduction featuring what appears to be a puppet closely resembling a Muppet. And yes, it’s just as weird and trippy as you would expect anything from a member of Animal Collective to put out. After the jump, check out the video, which was directed by Avey’s sister, Abby Portner.

It should be a huge year for the boys of Animal Collective; with Enter the Slasher House coming out April 7, and now Panda Bear announcing his much anticipated follow-up to the 2011 Tomboy, it appears we’ll be hearing a lot from them in the coming weeks. Color me excited.
