I’ve seen “Black Me Out” as the album’s standout track ever since my first spin through Against Me!‘s Transgender Dysphoria Blues, but given the song’s lyrics and subject matter, I figured it would never get the proper single treatment. Well, I suppose I’ve been proven both right and wrong today, as the band has released a rather unorthodox (and probably NSFW) music video for the track.
The clip combines the current lyric video trend and black-and-white performance footage with some shadow puppets urinating and physically mutilating one another. The band is currently in the middle of a North American headlining tour. You can find those remaining dates along with the music video after the jump.
