Coldplay’s sixth full-length album, Ghost Stories, is set to hit stores nationwide on May 19. In anticipation of the release, which will act as a follow-up to 2011’s Mylo Xyloto, the group recently debuted a brand new song while recording an in-studio session for BBC Radio 1. Titled “Ocean,” you can check out the ebbing acoustic ballad by following the jump below.

This newest offering is more straightforward than the previously released  “Magic” and “Midnight,” both of which were noticeable departures from the outfit’s earlier efforts. Comment below and let us know what you think.
