Zella Day Drops Another Sure-fire Hit With “East Of Eden”

We’ve already professed our love for Zella Day, and we’ve been anxiously awaiting her next move ever since. Today, the Los Angeles-based songstress has once again assured us that she’s destined to be the next big thing with the release of a new single entitled “East Of Eden.”

The new track, which is to be featured on her forthcoming EP, due out late this Summer via B3SCI, further cements her inevitable rise in the pop ranks with impressive production and her obvious knack for hugely infectious hooks and choruses that you’ll find yourself singing along with after just one listen. Day’s smooth vocals are backed by a big, driving beat and droning yet ethereal synths that hypnotize the listener with ease. You can stream “East Of Eden” after the jump…but make time for many repeat listens.

Following both “Sweet Ophelia” and “1965,” Day has now released a powerful trifecta of indie-pop goodness that commands the attention of Top 40 radio and the likes of every music blog smart enough to click play. Don’t sleep on this artist. You’ll regret it when all your friends are ahead of the curve.
