Who: 3OH!3
Hail From: Boulder, Colo.
Sound Like: Panic at the Disco, Ke$ha, All Time Low
In the Video: 3OH!3’s ‘Touchin on My’ is not for the kids, unless you want to teach them a lesson on censorship. Starting off with a bang, ‘Touchin on My’ is filled with violence, nudity, sex, money, and pretty much every indulgence you can think of. But like the song’s title, it’s all censored just enough to make it perfectly OK for most video outlets, even if the blurred-out imagery doesn’t make it any less obvious. And like it’s namesake, it features an ending that will leave you hanging.
In Their Words: “‘Touchin On My’ is one of our favorite songs and we wanted to make a video that captured the track’s swagger. For the video we teamed up with our High School buddy, Isaac Ravishankara. We wanted to make a video that gave the viewer something new every time he/she watched it. On the surface it’s just us rapping at the camera but there’s so many crazy scenes happening in the periphery. We hope you like it!”
