This morning, Paramore confirmed via Twitter that they will be performing on the hit morning television show Good Morning America on November 8, exactly one month from today. Follow the jump to view the actual tweet.
The news arrives a mere two days after the group’s announcement that Aaron Gillespie, the former drummer of Underoath and current frontman of The Almost, would continue to join the band on their upcoming arena tour, which is set to kick off October 15 in Seattle. Gillespie hopped on as the outfit’s drummer last minute, when Paramore’s regular touring drummer, Miles McPherson, was seriously injured in a freak golf cart accident this past August. As of right now, Gillespie’s inclusion in the group beyond The Self-Titled Tour has yet to be confirmed.
The coming months will likely be busy for Paramore. After The Self-Titled Tour, the band is scheduled to visit both Australia and New Zealand before adorning their water wings for “Parahoy”, their first ever sponsored cruise. For a full list of tour dates, you can consult the group’s official website, and don’t forget to tune in to ABC one month from today to see these Tennessee trendsetters tear it up on national television!
The Self-Titled Tour is adding another stop to the itin! Paramore will be playing @GMA on November 8th #PARATOUR
