Watch a New Reel of ‘Veronica Mars’ Movie Footage

Ten years later, and not much has changed in the world of Veronica Mars, everyone’s favorite (seemingly now-retired) former teenage private eye, as Entertainment Weekly brings us a sneak peek at the upcoming film adaptation.

Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) is currently dating the cute but safe (read: boring) Piz (Chris Lowell). Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) is still a brooding bad boy who can’t stay out of trouble. And Veronica still hasn’t figured out a way to resist Logan’s charm as the plot revolves around her coming out of retirement when Logan is accused of murder. I think we all know how this one is going to end.

The TV series ran from 2003-2007 and developed a cult-like following that has been clamoring for a big-screen take ever since the show was cancelled. The project finally got the green light on the heels of one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns in history, gaining over $5.7 million in pledges.
