Suge Knight gets “blackballed”

Thanks to our good friends at HipHopDx, we get to talk about how big of an idiot Suge Knight is…again. This dude keeps popping up, trying to make his crummy record companies that die in a year, and blaming it on someone else. This guy just needs to step away from the game and let it pass him by. He is a nobody now…and for what it is worth…he was a nobody then. Dre, Pac, Snoop, and Hammer made that dude famous, not his sly business tactics he think he has. Spin it:

When Suge Knight decided to name his new record company Blackball Records it turns out he wasn’t the only one to have chosen that particular name.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ reports that Black Ball Records, another record company, has issued a cease and desist letter to Knight urging him to change his record company’s name.

According to Blackball Records, who claim to have had their name since 2002, Knight has infringed on their copyrights to the name.

Knight began using the name Blackball Records for his company’s name since 2008 and his people even attempted to copyright the name in 2006, but stopped the process earlier this year.

Both parties have attempted to come to an agreement, but to no avail. The copyright issues between the two companies will more than likely be settled by the trademark office.
