Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas attended The Hush Sound & JJAMZ show at House Of Blues in Chicago, IL on October 26.
I arrived to The Hush Sound & JJAMZ show more stoked than ever. The Hush Sound was one of my favorite bands and I love JJAMZ’s music. JJAMZ was actually second on the bill (I missed the first band), but put on a great show. I’ve listened to them since Alex Greenwald talked about starting this band after Phantom Planet went on hiatus. They were awesome live, and I will definitely see them again. Then it was time for The Hush Sound to take the stage. It was like reliving my sophomore year of high school, seeing them on the Honda Civic Tour. I mean I saw them back in February for their reunion show, but this was much different; I enjoyed this show much more than the February one. They even performed a new song, which we posted a few days ago here. I hope this new song means there is a possibility of more shows & new music. Overall I really enjoyed the show & the line-up.
